Mayor Patricia Ash
Mayor Patricia Ash

On behalf of myself, the City Council and City staff, I would like to welcome you to the City of Williams. You will find that Williams is a business friendly community with a small town character. The city’s goals are to expand the economic base with a business friendly atmosphere, while maintaining our small town charisma. The city prides itself on using creativity to assist businesses in locating here. Our mission is to create a balanced community that promotes both economic development and our quality of life.

The city emphasizes the development of parks, bicycle and pedestrian trails and other community facilities. The city works closely with the Williams Unified School District to insure that the educational needs of our citizens are met. The Williams’ schools have achieved some of the highest achievement test scores in the North State.

Williams is served by several restaurants, coffee shops and cafes featuring American, Italian, Chinese and Mexican cuisine. The city features numerous motels with over 300 rooms available, 24-hour service stations providing gasoline and diesel fuel and last, but far from least, the Sacramento Valley Museum. The Museum contains exhibits relating to early life in California.
