Proper maintenance is essential to promote user safety, to ensure ease of access, and to encourage the use of a designated route, especially in school zones.  Our Public Works Department will be pressure washing sidewalks every morning on Pinewood Court and E St. to ease the access of our students. With the birds protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918 the law prevents the City of Williams from chasing the birds out during breeding and nesting—a period that starts in April and won’t end until sometime in September.  We cannot move the birds out but the City of Williams is working with the property owner to solve the issue long-term.
